Since its establishment in 2008 as Shantou Kings, initially focused on prototyping with 3D printers, the company has evolved significantly. In 2015, Kings 3D emerged in Shenzhen, pioneering a standardized 3D printer production base and delving into 3D material research. By 2016, the company broadened its applications to include automotive prototyping, sculpture, and architecture, solidifying its reputation in China’s market. The introduction of high-speed 3D printing in 2017, including innovations like the Ceramic Department, propelled Kings 3D’s annual revenue beyond 100 million yuan. The following year marked another milestone with the unveiling of China’s largest SLA 3D printer, garnering widespread media attention. 2019 saw the operationalization of Kings’ Jiangxi production base, focusing on printing consumables. By 2020, Kings 3D ventured into dentistry, established a subsidiary in Chongqing, and expanded its service market in the Southwest. 2021 brought breakthroughs in ceramic 3D printing and the establishment of a printing service center in Zhejiang. The acquisition of Laseradd in 2022 positioned Kings 3D as a leading brand in both metal and non-metal 3D printing, achieving industrialization. Subsequent acquisitions in 2023, coupled with operational bases in Zhuhai and Guanjin, further solidified its market presence. Notably, Kings 3D continued its expansion into new regions, introducing diverse product lines like FGF and FDM, indicating a trajectory of sustained growth and innovation.

Kings’Team
Founded by Jiang ZeXing, CEO & Founder, who graduated from Peking University’s EMBA program and was the first in China to apply 3D printing to the shoe industry and other industrial production, along with Professor Yang YongQiang, Chief Scientific Director of Kings, who is also a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at South China University of Technology, and the President of Guangdong Additive Manufacturing Association. Kings continually conducts research, innovates, and develops in the field of 3D printing, boasting a highly skilled team of experts in various 3D printing technologies.

Kings’Products
Kings currently has 6 types of 3D printers, including StereoLithography Apparatus (SLA), Selective Laser Melting (SLM), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Granular Fabrication (FGF), Digital Light Processing 3D Printer (DLP), and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). In addition, Kings also has proprietary 3D printing plugins – orang, and self-developed materials including resin, metal powder, nylon pellets, filament, etc.
Kings SLA
Kings currently has a total of 12 SLA machines, namely Kings SLA 3035Pro, Kings SLA 450Pro, Kings SLA 6035Pro, Kings SLA 600Pro, Kings SLA 650Pro, Kings SLA 800Pro, Kings SLA 850Pro, Kings SLA 1000Pro, Kings SLA 1200Pro, Kings SLA 1450Pro, Kings SLA 1700Pro, and Kings SLA 2700Pro. These machines are distinguished by their printing size, and while their appearances vary, they can meet a wide range of resin printing needs from small to large. Currently, Kings SLA machines have been applied in various fields such as footwear, sculpture, education, architecture, automotive, medical, and educational models.

- Kings SLM
Kings currently has a total of 8 metal 3D printers, categorized into three types based on the size of printable samples: Flexible Compact, Advanced Mid-Range, and Efficient Large Format. Among them, Flexible Compact includes Kings SLM M50 and Kings SLM M100; Advanced Mid-Range includes Kings SLM M150, Kings SLM M280, and Kings SLM M490. Efficient Large Format includes Kings SLM M450, Kings SLM M500, and Kings SLM M650. So far, Kings’ 3D SLM metal printers can meet various applications in aerospace and defense, energy, molds and tools, automotive, healthcare, accessories order, research and studies, and other fields. In 2022, Kings acquired Laseradd, jointly embarking on a new journey in SLM research and additive manufacturing.

- Kings SLS
Kings currently has an SLS 3D printer primarily using nylon as the main raw material, with the model number P440. Featuring a scanning speed of up to 11,000 mm/s, a variable beam size of greater than or equal to 0.28mm, and an 8-zone independent temperature zone control system, the Kings SLS P440 boasts high-speed laser sintering, self-developed power, push-pull build cylinder, external powder cylinder, dual-scraper two-way intelligent powder supply, and a large printing format of up to 440440 The Kings SLS P440 offers advantages such as cost savings, continuous supply, and prints specimens that are complex, tough, functional, economical, and space-saving. Currently, it is widely used in applications such as rapid manufacturing, tooling, and others.

- Kings FGF
Kings’ FGF machines currently include four models: JS-FGF-800, JS-FGF-1800, JS-FGF-AM-2400, and JS-FGF-AM-2435. These machines are primarily distinguished by their printing size and exhibit varying appearances. Utilizing granules as raw materials, they can meet a wide range of printing needs. The Kings FGF series of 3D printers offer several advantages such as faster printing speeds, compatibility with a wider range of materials, larger printing sizes, lower material costs, and overall economic efficiency. They are applied in various fields including sculpture, architecture, public art, advertising, decoration, furniture, and character design.

Kings’ DLP machines utilize Digital Light Processing technology to create precise and detailed 3D prints. On the other hand, fully acquired Guangdong Dakun, Kings FDM machines employ Fused Deposition Modeling technology, which melts thermoplastic filament to build 3D objects layer by layer. They offer the benefit of being able to print with a variety of materials, allowing for experimentation and innovation in design and prototyping.
