On May 20, 2025, the 23rd China International Foundry Expo opened in grandeur at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin). This four-day global event for the casting industry, themed “Facilitating Dual Circulation, Empowering New Development, Realizing New Growth,” welcomed 127,616 professional attendees from over 30 countries and regions. Shortly after the opening ceremony, Gongxiang Intelligent Equipment (Anhui) Co., Ltd. ignited a new wave of excitement by hosting the grand unveiling of its AJS 3200—“Intelligent Leadership · Forging a Green Future: AJS 3200 Launch and Strategic Signing Ceremony with Taibiao Group.” This marked the global premiere of the large-format, high-efficiency sand casting 3D printer AJS 3200 and the formal establishment of a strategic partnership with Taibiao Group, representing a new milestone in Gongxiang’s journey of innovation.

Distinguished guests attending the launch included Zhang Libo, Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation and President of the China Foundry Association; Zhang Yonglin, Chairman of Taibiao Group; Peng Fan, Honorary President of the China Foundry Association and Chairman of the Board and Party Secretary of Gongxiang Group and Gongxiang Intelligent Equipment (Anhui) Co., Ltd.; Wang Dongsheng, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the China Foundry Association; Bai Yunzhu, Deputy General Manager of Taibiao Group; Zha Yunwei, General Manager of Taibiao Precision Casting Co., Ltd.; Liu Yi, General Manager of Gongxiang Intelligent Equipment; and Deputy General Managers Ma Tao and Zhou Zhijun, alongside clients and industry representatives.

The event officially commenced at 2:00 p.m. with opening remarks delivered by Liu Yi, General Manager of Gongxiang Intelligent Equipment (Anhui), and Zha Yunwei, General Manager of Taibiao Precision Casting.

In his speech, Mr. Liu warmly welcomed all attendees and emphasized that 3D printing, as a frontier force in new productive capacity, is reshaping industrial chains through revolutionary advances characterized by high-end, intelligent, green, and digital technologies. Taibiao CNC Machine Tools is a leading force in China’s machinery sector, while Gongxiang has cultivated over a decade of expertise in 3D printing, pioneering its industrial application in the casting sector. During the launch, Mr. Zhou presented the industrial-grade casting sand 3D printer AJS 3200. As a next-generation, large-format, high-efficiency printer, the AJS 3200 is powered by multi-mode intelligent printing technology and a smart software ecosystem that redefines the fundamental logic of production efficiency. It supports multi-material compatibility (silica sand, ceramsite sand, chromite sand), gradient infiltration (layer thickness from 0.2 to 0.8 mm), intelligent raw material management, and near-zero waste manufacturing—transforming every grain of sand into profit.

With a maximum build volume of 3200 × 2000 × 1200 mm, printing efficiency ≥1000 L/h, and accuracy within ±0.4 mm, the AJS 3200 can operate independently or as part of a modular sand mold production line. When integrated with auxiliary systems and industrial robots, it enables a fully digitized foundry. The printer is particularly suited for sectors such as large-scale wind power, heavy mining machinery, and high-end machine tools—offering comprehensive casting solutions that accelerate the industry’s green and intelligent transformation.

Amidst the celebratory atmosphere, the official ribbon-cutting for the AJS 3200 launch and strategic agreement signing with Taibiao Group commenced. Dignitaries wielded golden scissors as red ribbons fell, witnessing the global debut of the AJS 3200. During the signing ceremony, Bai Yunzhu, Deputy General Manager of Taibiao Group, and Ma Tao, Deputy General Manager of Gongxiang Intelligent Equipment, formally inked the partnership—affirming their shared commitment to nurturing next-generation productivity and fostering high-quality development across the casting value chain.
