Participating investment institutions include Guotou Chuanghe, Yuanchuang Duoying Capital, and Bingzhuang Fund. Hangzhou Yijia 3D Additive Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2014 and has since become one of the leading manufacturers of metal 3D printing technology in China.

The EP-M2050: A large-scale metal 3D printer with a build volume of 2 meters and an 8 matrix configuration with 64 lasers.

On May 7, 2024, Yijia 3D has added a new member to its metal additive manufacturing system product line: the EP-M2050. This machine features a build volume of 2058mm x 2058mm x 1100mm (Z-axis customizable up to 2000mm), significantly expanding the size capabilities of SLM additive manufacturing technology. It broadens the range of applications for large-scale components and opens up more possibilities for industrial smart production.

The EP-M2050 employs matrix laser arrangement technology, standardly configured with six matrices, thirty-six lasers, and thirty-six mirrors. Optionally, it can be configured with seven matrices and forty-nine lasers or eight matrices and sixty-four lasers. In standard configuration, the maximum build speed can reach 1080 cm³/h (for stainless steel), approximately 100% faster than the standard EP-M1550 (four matrices, sixteen lasers). At the 2024 TCT Asia exhibition, Yijia 3D showcased a 2-meter metal part printed by the EP-M2050.


*Note: Build speed is related to equipment configuration, process parameters, and the material or shape of the printed part. For example, when using titanium alloy material, the maximum build speed with thirty-six lasers is 1860 cm³/h.

Through scientifically calibrated matrix optical layout, the optical system achieves high consistency, enabling precise stitching and high density, low fluctuation in mechanical properties of the formed parts, meeting the stability, reliability, and uniformity requirements of the formed products.
  • The EP-M2050 integrates high-quality laser beams, excellent optical calibration technology, and reasonable printing parameters, allowing for high-quality printing at layer thicknesses ≥ 60 μm. The maximum build speed can reach 1080 cm³/h, satisfying customers' needs for efficient production.
  • The EP-M2050 improves the airflow structure design, ensuring more uniform and stable airflow within the build chamber. It effectively removes splash and other impurities, protecting the field mirrors from contamination and ensuring a bright, clean print surface and consistent spark brightness, effectively guaranteeing the one-time formation of printed parts.

  • User-friendly: Developed EPlus3D control software with one-click printing function and support for online switching of multiple scanning strategies; EPHatch process planning software supports filling processing paths for SLC/CLI slicing files, offering high levels of openness, rich process parameters, and simple operation.
  • Intelligent monitoring: Features a powder spreading monitoring module that can detect defects in real time, improving print reliability and traceability. It includes an IoT module supporting remote monitoring of the printing process via web and app interfaces, meeting the needs of intelligent workshop management.

The device has good overall sealing, and both powder use and recovery are conducted in a closed state.
