As the year-end shopping season approaches in Europe and the United States, the "World's Supermarket," Zhejiang Yiwu, is witnessing a surge in exports, with numerous cross-border e-commerce enterprises working overtime to fulfill orders.

In the toy specialty district of Yiwu International Trade City, buyer Chen Junyu is scouting for new products in a store specializing in 3D-printed toys. He shared with reporters that he primarily sources various toys from the Yiwu market to sell in the United States. This year, 3D-printed toys have gained significant popularity among American consumers.

The shop where Chen Junyu is browsing showcases thousands of 3D-printed toy designs, ranging from dinosaurs and octopuses to mermaids. According to shop owner Lü Xulian, their products are predominantly sold to European and American markets, with the dragon egg model being the most sought-after item at present.

Lü Xulian, Business Owner, Yiwu International Trade City:

"These are incredibly popular right now. Our factory produces around 30,000 sets daily, with 70% destined for the U.S. and European markets. Demand is so high that some clients come directly to the factory to collect freshly printed products straight from the machines."

The year-end shopping season in Europe and the U.S. has also propelled many Yiwu-based cross-border e-commerce sellers into their busiest period of the year. One company, for instance, began intensive design, production, and inventory preparation two months prior to Black Friday. Currently, the company has adjusted its overseas stock levels, increasing inventory by 20-30% compared to usual to ensure timely fulfillment during the sales peak.

Wu Tingxuan, Marketing Director, Zhejiang Sporting Goods Co., Ltd.:

"During Black Friday, we prepared 300,000 to 400,000 items. We hope to leverage this major promotional event to boost our revenue by 20-30%."

To support Yiwu enterprises in seizing opportunities during the shopping season, the local tax authorities have implemented 24/7 services and continue to refine the streamlined management of export tax rebate documentation.
