On September 16, 2025, at the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, Tencent officially launched its AI Prosperity Plan, introducing the AI Co-Creation Camp and AI for 100 Schools initiatives to accelerate AI openness, talent development, and industrial adoption. As a core partner of Tencent Cloud’s AI Co-Creation Camp, Tang Jingke, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Creality, attended the launch ceremony and signed a strategic cooperation agreement to integrate Tencent’s Hunyuan LLM with Creality’s ecosystem—driving deep convergence of AI and 3D printing.

Breaking Long-Standing Pain Points

Unlike a simple technical interface, this collaboration combines:

· Hunyuan’s multimodal understanding and generative power, with

· Creality’s strengths in hardware manufacturing, ecosystem platforms, and end-user reach.

Together, they aim to overcome persistent challenges in 3D printing such as steep modeling barriers and cumbersome workflows.

First Milestone: “CubeMe – Little Me” AI Modeling Tool

As the first practical achievement, Creality’s Creality Cloud platform launched the AI-powered tool CubeMe – Little Me.

· How It Works: Users upload a photo and select a style (e.g., “cute sitting baby,” “clay,” “mini designer toy”), whereupon the system automatically generates a 2D concept image and transforms it into a 3D model.

· Customization: Text prompts allow further fine-tuning of the model, achieving a true “what you imagine is what you get” experience.

This feature makes 3D creation accessible to everyday users with no professional background.

An Integrated 3D Printing Platform

Creality Cloud has already built a complete service loop of resources → tools → community, supporting:

· Device networking

· AI-assisted modeling

· Cloud slicing

· Remote printing

· Community sharing

The new AI upgrade further strengthens its mission to lower the threshold of 3D printing and democratize digital manufacturing.

Looking Ahead: Toward an AI-Native 3D Printing Era

Both sides plan to deepen integration of multimodal AI across the entire 3D printing chain, developing more scenario-specific AI tools and exploring one-stop intelligent solutions from idea generation to physical delivery.

Creality reaffirmed its commitment to open collaboration, seeking to engage a broader ecosystem of partners to accelerate the shift of 3D printing from professional manufacturing to mass co-creation.

Conclusion

As Nanjixiong observed, AI is redefining the boundaries of 3D printing applications. The collaboration between Tencent and Creality is more than a technical alliance—it marks the entry of the industry into a new AI-native era, where modeling no longer depends on specialized software and creativity is freed from skill barriers. A future of “everyone can participate, everyone can create” is rapidly approaching.
