However, metals such as copper, gold, tantalum, and their alloys exhibit low absorption rates for infrared lasers, leading to excessive spatter during printing, porosity issues in the melting process, and difficulties in achieving high-density samples. At Formnext 2024, ADDIREEN unveiled an array of impressive exhibits. One notable highlight was a rocket thrust chamber model (Photo 1), printed using either pure copper or a copper-chromium-zirconium alloy (the showcased model was made from pure copper). This model demonstrates exceptional thermal conductivity and high-temperature resistance, illustrating the application potential of ADDIREEN’s green laser printing equipment in the aerospace sector. The technology provides reliable solutions for tackling complex manufacturing challenges.
All the green laser printing equipment of ADDIREEN are "independently developed by the company", and can be customized according to different application requirements.
In addition, ADDIREEN also exhibited a variety of test pieces in the field of heat dissipation at the Formnext exhibition. The heat dissipation fin exhibition piece shown in Figure 2 adopts a hollow structure and demonstrates obvious advantages in terms of fineness and surface roughness.

At Formnext 2024, ADDIREEN pleasantly surprised attendees by debuting a variety of metal decorative and consumer items. These included decorative ornaments (Photo 6: dragon sculptures with polished, silver-plated, and gold-plated finishes), copper rings, and directly printed sandblasted teaware.
Copper was selected as the primary material for these exhibits due to its metallurgical similarities to gold, particularly in laser absorption properties. After polishing and gold plating, the printed copper pieces exude a warm luster and radiant gold hue. The excellent compatibility between copper and gold ensures that even a thin gold plating layer maintains durability and an outstanding aesthetic.
These exhibits underscore the remarkable detail control of ADDIREEN’s green laser printing equipment, opening new avenues for metal 3D printing in artistic creation, jewelry design, and premium consumer products.
