The company has made remarkable progress in advancing additive manufacturing technologies, achieving transformative leaps in production capacity, original innovations, product portfolio development, and large-scale applications. Let us delve into Farsoon’s remarkable 2024 achievements, a testament to its innovation and excellence.
1. Inauguration of New Headquarters: Accelerated Production Capacity At year-end, Farsoon officially inaugurated its expansive R&D and manufacturing headquarters. Spanning over 140,000 square meters, the new facility resolved production bottlenecks caused by rapid growth, significantly enhancing both customer supply capabilities and overall R&D innovation strength.
2. Over 650 Patent Applications As of November 2024, Farsoon had filed over 650 patents and software copyrights. The company spearheaded or participated in the formulation of 14 national standards and six industry standards for additive manufacturing technologies, maintaining a leading position in the field.
3. Pioneering In-House Control Card Technology Farsoon successfully developed and commercially applied its self-designed galvanometer control card. This innovation dramatically improved production efficiency, reduced user costs, and, most importantly, established a unique technological roadmap for the company.
4. Precision Printing for Mass Production To meet the stringent precision demands of industries such as consumer electronics, precision molding, and healthcare, Farsoon developed a fine-detail printing process based on its FS200M platform. This process achieved a printing accuracy of 0.05mm with minimum wall thicknesses of 0.1mm, enabling mass production.
5. Breakthrough Cold Metal Fusion Technology In collaboration with German partner Headmade, Farsoon successfully developed cold metal fusion (CMF) technology for its SLS equipment. This innovation enabled support-free titanium alloy printing, achieving a breakthrough in low-cost, high-efficiency production of metal components.
6. Launch of Large-Scale Copper Alloy Equipment Addressing the aerospace sector's limitations in printing small-sized copper alloy parts, Farsoon, in partnership with Capital Aerospace Machinery Corporation, introduced the FS621M-Cu. This specialized large-format equipment featured a Z-axis forming size exceeding 1,000mm and four 1,000W ytterbium-doped lasers, ensuring long-term stable printing of high-reflectivity materials.
7. High-Strength Carbon Fiber PA6 Material Farsoon unveiled its proprietary high-performance carbon fiber-reinforced PA6 material, FS6130CF-F, designed for industries such as automotive, aerospace, and sports equipment. The material boasts a tensile strength of 110 MPa, balancing lightweight properties with exceptional durability.
8. Full In-House Development of Auxiliary Equipment Leveraging 15 years of expertise and a profound understanding of industrial users' needs, Farsoon achieved complete in-house development of its auxiliary equipment lineup. This includes powder transportation, recycling, sieving, and integrated powder management systems, as well as polymer powder post-processing and cooling units, ensuring safe, efficient, and stable production for industrial users.
9. Airbus Certification for High-Strength Aluminum Components Farsoon earned certification from Airbus subsidiary APWORKS for the production of Scalmalloy® high-strength aluminum alloy components. Scalmalloy® is an advanced aluminum-scandium alloy with a superior strength-to-weight ratio and excellent corrosion resistance. Farsoon’s equipment met rigorous standards, enabling stable and scalable production.
10. Over 100 Million Shoes Produced with Additive Manufacturing Farsoon has long specialized in the footwear mold industry. Its tailored solutions for this sector have achieved widespread adoption across markets such as the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia.
