A Comprehensive Illustrated Guide to AI-Generated 3D Printing Models
Toolchain: DeepSeek (Text-to-Keywords) → Jimeng AI (Text-to-Image) → Tripo (Image-to-3D)
Phase One: Generating Keywords with DeepSeek To ensure the generated model design aligns with the fundamental requirements for image-to-3D conversion and 3D printing, it is essential to consider the output as a tangible three-dimensional entity when using DeepSeek.
Example: Input the following prompt into DeepSeek: “I want to use AI to generate a 3D-printable model of a Predator figurine. Please help me create a text-to-image prompt first.”The tool will generate multiple results. As shown below, you can choose different variations based on your needs. Here, we select the basic version for demonstration:
Highly detailed sci-fi full-body character portrait with a Predator (Yautja) theme. A highly mechanical alien warrior featuring: Biomechanical hybrid armor: A skull-textured mask (inspired by "bone mask" designs) with a shoulder-mounted plasma cannon. Dreadlocks interwoven with metallic strands: Facial tendrils exhibiting bioluminescent textures. A muscular yet battle-scarred physique: Crocodile-scale-like skin texture. Left wrist-mounted blade system; right arm equipped with a retractable spear. Battle-worn details: Scratched armor with splattered alien blood. Dynamic pose: A crouched hunting stance in a ruined environment backdrop.
Phase Two: Generating Images with Jimeng AI
Open the Jimeng AI website or app.
Copy the previously generated keywords into the image generation module.Click "Generate Now."
Once the AI completes the image generation, you will enter the "card drawing" phase, where you can select and save your preferred design. You may redraw and fine-tune the image multiple times until you achieve the desired result.
Note: Ensure the subject in the image is fully intact and structurally clear; otherwise, the subsequent 3D model may have missing sections.
Phase Three: Creating a 3D Model with Tripo Visit the Tripo AI website (https://www.tripo3d.ai/). Upload a single image and click "Generate" (do not select any style options).
Wait approximately two minutes for the 3D model to be automatically created.
Download the 3D-printable file in 3MF format.
Phase Four: Slicing and 3D Printing the Model Drag the downloaded 3MF file into BambuStudio (or any other 3D printing slicer software).
A prompt will appear regarding the model's unit of measurement. Click "Yes" to ensure proper import.
Adjust the model to the desired size and scale.
Configure slicing parameters and initiate the print.
