On the afternoon of March 18, 2025, Wang Guoquan, Secretary of the Party Committee of Zhungeer Banner, held a meeting with Wu Xinhua, Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and Chairman of Suzhou Beifeng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions and reached important consensus on expediting the implementation of the high-end 3D new materials project and establishing the nation’s first academician workstation led by Wu Xinhua. At the meeting, the People’s Government of Zhungeer Banner, Zhungeer Economic Development Zone, Suzhou Beifeng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Ordos Innovation Investment Group, and Inner Mongolia Hengdong Energy Group signed a strategic investment cooperation agreement. This event marks a milestone in Zhungeer Banner’s efforts to activate its transformation development fund, assist energy enterprises in transitioning toward emerging industries, and facilitate groundbreaking partnerships between entrepreneurs and scientists.
During the discussion, Wang Guoquan extended a warm welcome to Wu Xinhua and his delegation, expressing sincere gratitude for the attention and trust that Suzhou Beifeng Intelligent has shown toward Zhungeer Banner. Wu Xinhua provided a concise overview of the development history and application of metal 3D printing technology, the future prospects of the industry, the technological strengths of their products, and the company’s plans for a comprehensive production base and full-industry-chain layout. He then offered a detailed explanation of the key factors required for project implementation and the timeline for construction. Representatives from Ordos Innovation Investment Group, the State Investment Group, and Inner Mongolia Hengdong Energy Group each shared insights on how industrial funds and private capital could support the initiative. Meanwhile, relevant county-level officials and departments addressed issues such as land availability, factory premises, raw material supply channels, and pricing, providing thorough responses and facilitating direct connections to resource suppliers.

Wang Guoquan emphasized that, under the strong support of the municipal Party committee and government, the collaboration with Suzhou Beifeng Intelligent to establish a high-end 3D new materials project and the nation’s first Wu Xinhua Academician Workstation represents a pivotal strategy for nurturing new productive forces and empowering Zhungeer’s advanced technology sectors. It is also a significant achievement under the “518” industrial development plan and the “Hundred-Day Investment Promotion Campaign.” This initiative is expected to open new opportunities for industrial transformation, build a robust foundation for future growth, and enhance the regional image. Relevant departments and state-owned enterprises at the banner level must fulfill their responsibilities within the stipulated timeframe, actively coordinate with municipal SOEs and local private enterprises to ensure sufficient funding, and immediately establish a special task force for project facilitation, complete with clearly defined measures and responsible parties for each phase of implementation.
